I have this adventure with my classmates going somewhere we like, we go mall to mall, or store to store just enjoying ourselves be free from  school quizzes, projects and assignments. We got to a place where all of the   things that you need is in there. We looked at the vintage shop or thrift shop, I know vintage shop was sometimes not a good option in case of quality but sometimes there's treasure waiting for us to discover. I found this very stunning leopard print leggings and I can't go out of the store not buying it. It was only for ₱100 so I bought it. It was a very nice bargain.

Tribal Print

This is one of my so called "project" that I've worked this summer its a peplum skirt. Yippee!  It turned out so great.

 Before you tell that your garment is well fitted on you, you must try it to yourself like test driving. When I first fit the skirt it was skimpy . I asked my mother if what's wrong and she asked me of what pattern I used and I told her that I didn't use  one --Oh no! because I thought it was a waste  of time. She told me to create pattern before I start cutting & sewing the fabric ,well lesson learned. 

What would be my dressmaking teacher will say to me if they found out that I didn't use pattern, hoping they wouldn't find out. So let's not bring back the awful past and let's focus on the finished outcome. 

Notice that I didn't wear any accessories just my foldable sunnies, well I hope next time,I don't forget to wear something :)

Sweet Chic

I have this habit that I don't read messages right after they were sent except for emergency purposes, I read them on the bed before I go to sleep. Last night as I scroll my phone reading the messages one by one, read this:

It's from my classmate Joriza, although it is a group message but it speaks to you truly.I smile when read the 2nd line because when I'm out not really intended to go shopping and when I see something that I don't like and you fit  it to yourself ,just turned out so good to you.That's the time you admit to yourself that you were wrong before. I'm inspired and enlightened so I made this post.

My Ombre Shorts

Summer is one of the most waited season of the year .Here in Philippines we experience it always. Going to the beach, travelling, or attending summer classes are ways to spend your summer but for me I'm stuck at home, it’s cool though your needs are in there and you can do whatever you want.This summer I plan to read books (as of now I didn't read any) and work for my "projects". One of my projects is do an ombre shorts, I am inspired to do an ombre shorts on orange and yellow color combination but unluckily I didn't find any orange dye so I decided to go for my second plan and its pink, sky blue and blue.

 So here it is . . .

I think i did  a pretty good job and I hope you will like my Ombre Shorts!

Quirky and Geeky

Being a freshman is a lot of fun … Studying in a new school, new uniform, meeting new friends and teachers as well. What’s exciting is that we have our own acquaintance party. The theme of the party is Beauty and the Geeks, all the freshmen will be geeks and of course the others will be beauties. My classmate Kirstin decided that I should do her make up in my boarding house. Well I'm not an expert on putting make up on other people but I try and I think that I did pretty good job. The venue was at the Centennial Hotel, Iloilo City Hotel which is a beautiful location. My classmate and I arrive early so we have a time to take pictures.On the party.The party was amazing! Everyone had fun and I think that the people on that party had a blast!7/27/2012
