Treasure in the past

This skirt was made by my mom for the wedding of my cousin last 2010,it was a half balloon skirt before I revised it into a beautiful piece. It's better to revised it done just to leave it in the corner of my cabinet.

Glad that Midterm was finally over and I can't wait for my brother's wedding next weekend. My family will be going to be complete again. Yeah! But still many works lining up. Hoping that I can relax soon.

BE HAPPY! GOD BLESS YOU!!!

Rainbow Connection

My mind is deteriorating with some sleepless nights studying and memorizing. Quizzes and reporting are endless. Perhaps, that's how a sophomore is welcome. I still miss the fresh air, the beautiful view, the food that my mother cook for me when I'm home and the bed that makes me sleep at least 8 hours. I miss the life before school days. Well on the bright side my mother visit me every week since July starts. Is it me or she is just visiting her grandchild? ^^ hehe. I'm glad she was visiting me and my baby nephew. How can you resist the smile of baby, I feel like he was a stress reliever:))))

Saving this skirt for my very cute shoulder bag. I made my skirt and bag last summer, I'm sad that it is now  the time that I'm going to post this look, at least I have a time.

I brought the fabric from one of the malls in Iloilo and cost me less than a hundred pesos and the beaded bag which I made, cost me half a hundred pesos. So wonderful that I save more money than I expected.

Second Life

Seeing the title on its own makes a statement. We know Death is the counterpart of Life. Only God can take away our life and there is nothing we can do to revise it.

I had terrible accident few weeks ago, a pick-up car hit my head and injured the right part of my body. It happens after I got the keys of our boarding house from my brother then walked my way to the boarding house when I start crossing the road, the cars from my side are compressing while on the other side has no sign of cars passing. Due to my sureness that I can pass the road safely, I cross the road. I move my head from left to right then back to left and then a car hit me and I tumbled. It hit my head so bad that I can’t barely stand. There are concern people who saw that scene who helped me sat on a chair. There is a woman who called my brother and the emergency rescuers. My brother and his friend arrived and so as the rescuers. I cry continuously because of what was happening to me, the driver whom hit me decided to take me to the hospital and the rescuers take me to St. Paul's Hospital for further check up . I was very lucky that the results are negative.

I've never realized how blessed I am until I’m leaving the city of Iloilo, riding a jeepney reminiscing all the things that happened to me and most of all thanking God for the second life . I am so blessed of the people who are very concerned about my situation,my very warm thank you to all of you! May God bless Us All!

I want to dedicate this post to my family, friends, classmates and God for inspiring me always.J

Evergreen

Green is gorgeous, its full of life  & this color represents balance.
For me its a tricky color, sometimes you cant combine this with other colors, it can make your style over powering and sometimes make you beautiful.

Since I got no where no take some pictures I try the roof its a little dangerous but its fun. I'm lucky that the view was amazing.

OMG! I didn't expect this one it doesn't look like me. LOL.

Ribbon rings are one of my obsessions and this bracelet also. I love working on these pieces myself.
They are very easy to make I wish I had a tutorial.

Animal Instinct

I really love animal prints I can't resist myself on the fine detail that imprinted on the material.

I have this adventure with my classmates going somewhere we like, we go mall to mall, or store to store just enjoying ourselves be free from  school quizzes, projects and assignments. We got to a place where all of the   things that you need is in there. We looked at the vintage shop or thrift shop, I know vintage shop was sometimes not a good option in case of quality but sometimes there's treasure waiting for us to discover. I found this very stunning leopard print leggings and I can't go out of the store not buying it. It was only for 100 so I bought it. It was a very nice bargain.

Tribal Print

This is one of my so called "project" that I've worked this summer its a peplum skirt. Yippee!  It turned out so great.
Before you tell that your garment is well fitted on you, you must try it to yourself like test driving. When I first fit the skirt it was skimpy . I asked my mother if what's wrong and she asked me of what pattern I used and I told her that I didn't use  one --Oh no! because I thought it was a waste  of time. She told me to create pattern before I start cutting & sewing the fabric ,well lesson learned.

What would be my dressmaking teacher will say to me if they found out that I didn't use pattern, hoping they wouldn't find out. So let's not bring back the awful past and let's focus on the finished outcome.

Notice that I didn't wear any accessories just my foldable sunnies, well I hope next time,I don't forget to wear something :)
